I dont think I can fit much over a 2.5.  I have stans arch rims.
It is time to get some new tires.  Which ones though?
I am thinking of a desert ride this winter, maybe down the Baja again.  This time I am going on a 26er.

Good luck.

It is better to regret the things you've done than the things you haven't.

Another one for the famous quotes page.

I convinced myself to get a 26er back on this thread.

I got a Ritchey breakaway Dahon Flo.  For travel to 26 tire kinds of places.

In the mean time, the bike shop near lake Tahoe, has a wall full of 27.5.  He had to go in the back room and dig out a 29er tire this morning.
