I'm going to visit a friend in CO (boulder) in a few weeks, and we're hoping to do a fat bike overnight trip. Any suggestions for trails/areas that are nice for bikepacking, or others to avoid? I assume we'll prob be on snowmobile trails for the most part, so maybe some with lower traffic? Thanks!

I would suggest up around Montezuma. Peru Creek gets packed out, so does Saints John. Not huge distances and out and back. Some of the local single track get packed out around Keystone and Summit Cove, again not great distances, but that is some good riding.

I have done some riding and overnights around Leadville.  There seemed to be a lot snowmachine trails up there and its a lot less crowded than around Vail pass.
I have tried looking for snowmachine trails online but never found anything worth following up on.  If you do end up going out, please post up a small trip report.
