Just received and installed a Old Man Mountain Sherpa rear rack to my RM Altitude 29er.
I had to do a bit of modifying to keep the load centered over the rear axle by reversing those silver axle brackets.
Also the P-clamps supplied were the wrong diameter (too small) so I found some replacement in the junk bin.

Here's a couple pictures of different bag configurations I'm working with.
I'd like to thank all of you that have posted pictures of your bikepacking rigs they really helped me decide what
will work best for me and my style of riding.

Daily riding config. Rain gear, arm and leg warmers 10L drybag.

25L drybag with panniers for times when there is a ton of bulk like winter quilts and camp clothing.

When the trail is a bit more technical I'll switch to a backpack and remove the panniers.

Still waiting on some studded snow tires to arrive.
Then this bike should be ready for my first winter bikepacking trip.

Comments/questions welcome... Thanks for looking

I did a max load test run of this rack with panniers, drybag and backpack carrying my winter camping equipment.
Total load 35# with food and water for 2 day 1 night.
