Does that blow you around much like that?

I've thought about sewing some straps to the side of my frame bag, then just run the skis right along the top tube.

Or do the G-Pickle super tube thing

No it seems to be the most stable way ive carried my skis so far.   Did two PVC tubes on the back last year, works good but whips the rear end around alot when you stand up.   They way there are in the picture the skis are siting inside of my boots inside my panniers.  Really easy to set up, real stable.  Still hard to stand up.  You have to hold your face to one side of the skis.  One of the best setups ive seen so far was using a modified trail-a-bike.  Its blows me away the reactions of people when they see you hauling your skis on you bike.  Seems pretty logical when you dont have a car, but i guess thats no logical to most.
