The TNGA kicks off  this Saturday, 8AM on August 22nd and starts at the South Carolina Border on Highway 28, east of Clayton Georgia, heads west and has nearly 9 days to follow the route to the Alabama border on Highway 20, west of Rome, Georgia.

Since I didn't see a race discussion thread I figured I would start one! We already have two call-ins on MTBCast from Dominic Frascella. He called in leaving Conyers and pedaling his way to the state! He called in from Clermont just a little while ago!

Day 3 taking a final rest day before the start tommorow. Getting calories in is going to be my weakness for sure.

Chad and Shey staying tight - more contenders WG and JM not too far back. Hogpen is a brute, but not too bad in this weather and this late in the day.

Rain came through Helen as a lot of riders were arriving at Woodys.  Props to the ones that went back out in the rain to try and make it to Vogel state park.  Another big system following later tonite. Hopefully it breaks early enough to get a good start.

Several call ins posted at http://mtbcast.com/site2/category/tnga15/!

Phil Canning is OUT!
Michael Fitzgerald called in from the old Iron Bridge Cafe, which is closed.
Sam Harney is here at Mulberry Gap eating, repairing the bike, and getting ready to head out! Chad Hungerford left about an hour ago as Sam pulled in. He's having Garmin issues and is taking along some cues! James Dunaway is in at Mulberry Gap getting food and recharging himself. He's in third and depending on who leaves when, could be in second!
