Tour Divide is awesome and it changes lives in many great ways. The Race as an endeavor for recording official times in Individual Time Trials and what is referred to as "The Grand Depart" which traditionally occurs on the 2nd Friday of June is a super cool way to participate in this unsanctioned "near underground" EPIC adventure.

Tour Divide is awesome and it changes lives in many great ways. As such, it can be confounded by misinformation coming from social media outlets that profess to be official in their communication and authority. They are not official. Rule of Thumb - Facebook Group messages and postings are all based on supposition.
Additionally tourdivideupdates.org is not an official artifact of TDR.
Tour Divide is a product of one person and one person only. Outside of that, enjoy the route as an amazing adventure.

What are those new icons on Trackleaders I haven't seen before? The legend does not provide info on them
a yellow square with two vertical lines might be a pause icon, but it should show up more often, and I only see it for JP
Why does JP have solid blue track point diamonds?

I'm guessing JP has a different GPS tracker than the standard Spots that sends a difference signal. Maybe a Garmin InReach? Disappointing to see so little traffic on the Forums these days. I don't use Facebook, is it really that much better? |
