So, you only need two weeks to ride the GDMBR?  Good to know.  Maybe I can squeeze it in now that I know that.

What is the total race distance?  Trying to figure out exactly how many miles are left for Josh.

If you mouse over his dot it now says 12.76 miles.

13, about the point I realized that for the first time in a long time there was no need to worry about where/when I was going to have to resupply.  Liberation!  What a finish!

Mile 4ish is when you come around a small hill that blocks the boarder and you can see the gate!!! I went wild here last year with Joy! I was singing Glory Halelujah and Amazing Grace!!! I was jumping in the saddle and my rear tire was going flat but I didn't care. Josh, Jay and Neil will be celebrating soon too! It's an amazing feeling seeing the end and knowing you can finally sleep and eat!

Scratch that - bad refresh. Jay's got ~4 minutes lead on Neil.

I hope Josh & Val don't mind. If you have not read Josh's account of his ride in TD 2014, here is the link.

Good luck all!

I'm exhausted just following this. How exciting. Congrats to Josh. I think, barring any unseen misfortune.

Indeed, he is one of the nicest dudes I have met.  Humble as all get out, pure style, super caring.

If I'm doing my math correctly (which is questionable) the distance between the top three is less than one half of one percent of the total distance raced so far. (.oo36%) That is a tight grouping.

<5 miles for Josh. I bet he's on a major high right now. Probably shedding some tears.

That's the same number I get.

Great read on the blog of someone who persevered when everything went against him last year. Good Karma for Josh this year and happy for him and Val too!

Man, I leave cell reception and my computer for a few hours and THIS happens! Go Josh!

I've been torn between the World Cup game and Live Tracker... pretty crazy. Good to see to 40+ dudes at 1 and 2.

Second that EndoAgain. Love his attitude after all the difficulty last year.  Life isn't so serious after all.
