New to marathon racing!!!! Please Help

Hello all, I am brand new to the world of marathon and multi day racing (sept for one 12 hour Adventure race that my team got 2nd in less than 8hrs, I was a little bummed about that because I wanted to go the whole 12)  Any ways, I have years of endurance racing, just nothing really going beyond the 3- 3 1/2 hour mark. 

Where can I find a pretty good comprehensive marathon mtb calendar? Or does anyone know of anything in SoCal or the South west in the Winter time that is at least 12hrs, but preferably a 2-3 day race?
