I am using an Etrex for the TDR and the route file is 10k waypoints already. Does anybody know if adding POI's via Garmin Basecamp (or whatever program) will mess up the track file, by putting it over 10k data points? I've scoured the interweb and can't find a clear answer. One entry said that POI's are not waypoints and you can attach 500 to a track, but I'm not certain that it was apples to apples with my question.
Sure would be cool to have resources and such labeled on the GPS!
