hi - I think I am signed up? I filled in the form and registered my tracking device - The Plodder.
I am trying to organize a lift down to the start preferably from Tucson and my 1st option is full.  Anyone else looking to share to get there for the start on 18th?

You should get a confirmation email from Track leaders right away if your registration went through.

Hi All,

Just went on the Trackleaders registration link and got a 404 error. I'm guessing that means it's all full?

Tracker is online now if people want to see who is signed up and/or confirm they are on the list.

http://trackleaders.com/aztr19

70 showing, but 4 ITTs, so there are 8 spots left.

John,

Today I went to scout out the Schultz Pass section of the AZT.  My goal was to check out where Rocky Ridge hits Schultz pass trail.  There are posted closures East of 420 or Schultz pass Road for Forest Thinning Project.  They are logging using heavy equipment and helicopters at some point.  I think this will extend to behind Buffalo Park.

I recommend rerouting this section after Frys in Flagstaff on Switzer Canyon to Highway 180 and then turn on 420 or Schultz Pass Road at the light and head up Schultz pass to the Az Trail and take a left.

Current conditions are muddy trails and snow in shaded and north facing areas.

No, don't register again.  I'll restore your entry right now.  You should show soon.  Looks like you are the only one that for some reason didn't make it over.  Sorry about that but thanks for checking.

Anyone going south bound. I'm signed up for north bound, but I'd like to try the route going the opposite direction this time around. I'm not sure if I can work out the logistics of starting on the northern border and there's also the snow factor.

If anyone is looking to have a car dropped at the finish I may be able to help out. Or if someone is dropping a car at the finish I would be interested in hitching a ride.

I am signed up for the 750. Are the snow detours from previous years in play? Reason I ask is that I am leaving Denmark on april 10th and won't have access to a computer from that point. If they turn out to be an option I can upload the gpx files before I leave.

You can download the full set of all possible detours now, if you want.  Then only use the ones determined to be in play.

I believe 2010 had all possible detours on it, but would need to double check that.  Maybe the full set file should always be available as a link, just in case.
