Yea if that's a "TD unit" then hopefully they have access. It's easy to setup but you do need to be able to log in.

Dave--OK, should be fine if it gets in the mail Monday.  Thanks.

Kurt--I've got the info I need on that SPOT since it is in the Tour Divide pool.  Only people that have their own SPOTs need to send me their info.

Now we just need Chad's to get into Tracking mode...

As of Sunday mid-day:

Synopsis...high pressure aloft will provide a warming trend through
Tuesday. Another Pacific storm system forecast to move across the
Great Basin Wednesday will bring breezy to windy conditions to the
area. Thereafter...a stronger Pacific storm system will mean more
wind as well as a chance of showers Friday night into Saturday.

Pack yer rain gear:

Another strong Pacific storm system will bring strong winds on Friday...as well as showers and
much cooler temperatures on Saturday.

Don't underestimate how cold it can be here in April, esp. in the higher terrain.

The forecast for Mt Lemmon: Saturday - High of 40, scattered snow showers, low of 25!?

I thought going to southern AZ would be a nice escape from winter.  Apparently I was wrong...

I'm out.

The business is booming and 4-5 days away from email is impossible right now.  Maybe next year.  sad3

Since I'm sure everyone will be wasted and going their separate ways after the race, anyone want to get together for a leg-stretching ride and maybe a beer or 2 tomorrow afternoon (Thurs)?

I scouted a new route for the AZT 300 through Tucson.  I know this is extremely last minute, so the old route is 100% valid this year.

The new one is 0.1 miles longer and has 0.75 miles of singletrack and a bit of sand.  It follows much lower traffic roads than the old route.  Tanque Verde road (old route) tends to have a lot of vehicle traffic on it, especially on the weekends.

But like I said, it's completely optional.  The old route is likely faster, maybe by a minute or two, but this route will break up the pavement better and be safer / more pleasant.

If you don't want to bother with it, just keep your old GPS file.  If you want to try it (I rode it today), download the 'rev 3' GPX file here:

http://topofusion.com/azt/gpx/

(no rev3 cues -- GPS only if you want the new route)

It'll be the official route next year.  Apologies for the lateness of this.  The 300 route has been an evolution, and only when we really start looking at the route in detail do little things like this dawn on us.

Cool.  Is there an easy way in TF to migrate waypoints from an old track file to a new track file?

Not sure what you mean.  Did you add your own waypoints?

If so, you upload waypoints and 'saved tracks' separately, so just upload the waypoints from one file and the track from the new one.  You can drag and drop waypoints between files, too.  Just open them up to the Properties->Waypoints list.

LMK if that's not clear.
