 Hello! I'm a new member to this forum, and I'm interested in plotting a bike tour from McArthur Burney State Park to Oroville, Ca. - generally following the Ponderosa Way (yes, I got the idea from Chuck Elliot's book Wink  I'm using GoogleMaps for most of the routing, but things seem sketchy on the section from Shingletown to south of Manton. In fact, the Bodfish book only recommends riding from Manton, but I'm hoping to expand on that a little. Anyone have any knowledge or experience of such a route? Suggestions greatly appreciated!

This sounds interesting, I'll follow and see what happens. I unfortunately have not ridden this area.

Caltopo is worth a look for finding routes though, although nothing will beat some local knowledge from some forum members.
