Now that more of the Black Canyon Trail is complete it starts to make sense to come up with a way to use it as part of an AZT trip.

The new AZT Bike Route Data Book should be up at the ATA website pretty soon.

The data book covers all of the Wilderness detours and gives options for some of the more nasty sections as well as different routing based on direction of travel.

Adding the BCT as an alternate option to get from Apache Junction to Flag via Sedona would be great, sweet BCT trail instead of rutted out Highline trail would also be sweet.

So now how to connect from Apache Jct. to the south end of BCT, looking at the PHX map I recognize several ranges by names anybody up that way have any info. Then on the north end I have traced out some dirt roads to connect off of the Coconino 250 course sw of Cottonwood. Is the Coco route the best way to connect Sedona and Flag?Huh?
