Howdy all,
Was wondering about the feasibility of bikepacking into some 14ers this summer. Specifically some of the Sangre de Christo range - Crestones and Blanca group. The South Colony Lakes road seems pretty do-able, I've driven that one before it was closed to vehicles and also hiked it since. What I'm really wondering about is the Lake Como approach for the Blanca group. Heard horror stories about this approach. Would it be do-able by bike? Would I just be better off backpacking it? Hoping perhaps Justin can shed some light here?
