Hey everyone,

Trying to make an awesome Colorado Trail map for a well written story in Adventure Cyclist Mag, but have limited time to research it, and know close to nothing about it  icon_scratch

So what places should go on it? Any super-awesome spots that need to be represented? Peaks, passes, hot springs, restaurants, towns?
Is the route even correct? How does the profile look? Any other suggestions?

Here's what i've got so far (it won't be this big in print):

I like the varying terrain through some good back country, while still being close to supplies. A leisure trip hitting all the cool spots would be fantastic.
The area around Buffallo Creek (Bailey, CO) has dramatic fire damage from a few years ago and is only a few hours into the ride.  Check MTBR Front Range for pictures.  Every thing else is plain ol' alpine Wink  Further down the trail there are some hot springs near Buena Vista.  I can't remember if they made use of them in the very wet race last year.

Love the magazine btw.
