Get a hold of the GPX file (I can send it if you haven't already got it) and look at it closely and try to transfer that data to your maps. A GPS unit AND maps is the way to go though.

Hey Ron, I cant believe we are actually going! We arrive this Monday. I'm going to try to buy a Garmin 20 tomorrow at REI, unless there is somewhere I can rent one by PA. How do I get the gps file, and does that file have all four days mapped out on it? Thanks again for helping us make this trip a reality!

I'll email you the existing route and if I have time I'll whip something up that may work better for you given your limited time available.  If you have a smart phone then download a GPS app and you will be able to view it on that. Have the phone as a back up just in case you do not get a GPS. You can buy local maps in PA at Swains or Browns.

Today we had our first real rain in months. Looks like you might see some showers when you arrive.

Hey mmr305,
I sent you a GPX file with some route options.

Spruce railroad trail may be closed so I enclosed a detour around Lake Crescent.
Included an option into Forks
I think a ride up the Hoh Mainline to the ONP trailhead followed by a hike sounds about right for the time available.

I think it may be wet!
