so not gonna be spending a month next year on the divide so i'm brianstorming a west to east route....  kinna divide ish in terms of maybe some pavement ect...

anybody have any ideas on were to start in CA and some beta for navada?

I think i have a few ideas for UT,co Wo, nabraska, iowa...

much more east of there also looking for ideas...

Prob cover about 1000 miles this first summer

Where in Cali did you want to start and were there any cities/areas you wanted to check out on the way out to Nevada? 

Check out this site for some trail info.  www.geoladders.com Lot's of so cal trail info with GPS info.

Dave, look into the Pony Express route (at least until St Joe, MO). Some of us keep threatening to put on a mixed media race along it. The multi-horse record is under 8 days for 1700mi. Assailable solo, me thinks.
