Garmin eTrex 30 Multiple Maps Question

Alright, This might be a dumb question but how do I load multiple maps on to my eTrex 30?

I currently have the Topo micro sd card that came with the unit in the back behind the batteries, now I want to add North American Street maps, which is also on a Micro SD card to my unit. any tips?

You can add maps to the internal storage on the device.  I've got the North America street map on the internal storage of my etrex 20.

Incorrect attempts loading extra data into Garmin handhelds may erase Garmin installed data. Garmin's map update software may simplify adding maps or not ? I haven't tried this only searched for it.

Thanks, I saw this video. Problem is I have a Topo card already in that slot, and I want to get the North America street maps which is also on a micro SD card, so I'm trying to figure out how to have both on my GPS.

ok. I was using a 76 missing the cutoff date for buying more 76 Blue Charts.

The 76 did not load Blue Charts and Topo USA from the NEW Blue Charts designed for the 78 on the 76 with a 2007 Topo USA.

The 78 loads both 2007 USA and 2014 Blue Charts on the micro card. Or so Garmin Support tells me. 

Call Garmin, ask about the downloader. Or email.

With a kayak what happened first landing was the Blue Charts got me there but when I landed I didn't know where I was. 

I tried loading both but the procedure was 'problematic' as Garmin and it was, I blew out the Blue charts info.

Basically, you need to get yourself a micro-SD with a lot of room on it. Take out the one you have, download the maps of your choice (I have 3-4 different countries on mine as I live in Switzerland and it's easy to hit 3 countries in a long ride). Anyway, using MapInstaller, choose the maps you want and install them onto the SD card. I might have oversimplified it a bit but after the first time, it's quite easy.
