As you see from question. I was looking for a  bivy sack a large individual me. Currently  I use a six moon designs tent which I like. Anyway I'm 5'11" about 250 lbs  and 50" around at my chest. Any Ideas. I was told I could probably make one out of tyvek.

I've ordered stuff from all the above except katabatic gear. All good stuff. This should be a good place for you to start looking anyway.

A rab storm will fit you easily. Loft is important as well. Or space to loft. Aplkit hunka xl, if you don't mind an open bivi. Which I do!

Not sure I want to spend that kind of money yet. I am still thinking about. For now I am using a six moon designs tent. Thanks for asking.

Zpacks is great. I order stuff from them a couple times of year. Nice to hear you found something suitable.
