Hello, newbie here. Interested in bikepacking, 2 bikes on order and now thinking about outfitting the bikes wit storage bags, seats etc... I don't know if I missed it but if we don't have a list of vendors who cater to bikepacking maybe it is time get such list started?

Thanks Jeremy. As a moderator on MTBR, I maintain the MTBR list that Ranier started. I don't track who's offering better service or products--I simply add anyone who wants to be on the list.

I'd love to contribute to a good bikepacking gear / website list but the whole
sign up for a WordPress account thingy has stopped me. I'm just not very IT savy.

Going to another website that just has a subforum for bikepacking doesn't seem like a very good answer.
Shouldn't this site be the go to place? I'll help.

Personally, I find that both sites have their strengths and weaknesses. As a moderator of the bikepacking forum on MTBR.com, I'm careful not to "rob" anything from bikepacking.net. In fact, I often link directly to bikepacking.net rather than attempt to duplicate existing content. Having two sites is a good thing.
