Advice please -- putting aerobars on a Flash

Got a used 2010 Flash...it's wonderful.
(I don't feel worthy of it...yet.)
I'm still learning about it...
and wondering how to get aerobars onto it for some loooong rides.

Neither of those options will work with your lefty (1.5 steerer). Best bet is to buy a set of quality alloy riser bars with a wide clamping area, to ensure the aerobars will get a firm grip with no slip. Assemble with carbon paste too.

Some carbon bars do have a wide and thickened area for clamping, but I doubt that any (mainstream) mtb bar maker would build a bar to specifically accept clip ons the way that road bars do.

Pretty sure steerer tube is 1 1/8", not 1.5".  I could be wrong.

If it's 1 1/8" you would simply need a longer steerer tube to mount a fred bar which you can find a lot of places.

second on getting a pair of alloy bars to put the aero bars on.  one thing to look for is a wide bulged area;  i have some race face deus and the bulge is a little short to get the aero bars on without custom shims that i have to improvise.  i would also recommend the most adjustable aero bars you can get;  like the profile t1;  the benefit of a fred bar or a second stem is that they move the pads back because the top tube and stem on a typical cross country mountain bike is much longer than a tt bike that was designed to ride in the aero position.  on my setup i ended up moving the pads back about 3 inches to get a comfortable position; which is more important for this application than pure aero-ness.

Hmm... I don't think about that possibly being a 1.5 steer tube. If it's 1 1/8 then there may be some hope for the suggestions I posted up.

I am pretty sure the steer tube on that bike is neither 1 1/8 or 1 1/5. It is closer to 1 1/5, but cannondale built it just far enough off to try and limit user to only cannondale stems.

I just measured one of the 2012 Flashs in our shop, steerer measures 39.6mm, 1.5" = 38.1mm.

Well, in that case, a custom stem like fullyloaded has in his DIY GPS mount thread would be my option if $ didn't matter
With the lefty I think I'd want the extra room vertically as the bar is already a bit cramped with the top of the fork on the left side.
And like others have said, you may want a more upright position than what the bar monted option will give you.

No, fullyloaded has his made by Moots so I'd start there as they clearly know what they're doing and you wouldn't have to explain what it is.  If I were looking for one I'd personally go down the street here in NC to Jim Kish and ask nicely.  I'd think any custom builder could/would knock one out pretty quickly.  And if in steel instead of Ti probably quite cheaply too.
