Thanks all . I got like 45 days till I start my ride . The Stan's is on the way . Ghetto tubless with fresh tires this weekend. Did a major overall of the bike last weekend . Still need maps and turn on the Spot tracker and Gore- Tex sox . Can I use the bear pepper spray as a spice !!! :0)

I was just kidding about the ice tires . They weigh a ton.Home made lots of screws .  I know I will have great weather or the other. Got to go June 1 it's the only time I can go.

Thanks for the offer. I live in N Ny 10 miles from Canada in the snow belt . Should I bring my ice biking tires just if case? :0) I wanted to be on trail early to watch the racers go by . We haven't had a hard winter thought it might be the same their .

Depends a bit on how well suspended you are. I rode on a fully rigid bike and was very glad to be running reasonably fat tyres at very low pressures.

I run a 1100km event down under called the Kiwi Brevet and the general consensus is that cyclocross tyres don't make for an enjoyable experience overall.

Could you run 2.1 by 650B tyres?

Finaly got my tarp diped in silicone calking and paint thinner.  Turned out great. For poles thinking old carbon fiber golf club shaft . Or I have carbon arrows . Any other ideas

I would definitely check out the UST version. My UST versions ran flawlessly, but my non UST blistered while using Stan's. It seems like most people don't have this experience, but now I know it's always a possibility.

Got what ever is on sale at blue sky . Just have to work with what ever I get.

I like the Maxxis Crossmarks as thet seem to have a low rolling resistance and still has plenty of meet in the corners.
I am going use the Crossmarks this summer . Ghetto tubless 26". Hope they last 2600 miles
