I'm going to be trying Continental Race King Protections this year. They worked well for Brian Lucido last year and Mike Hall the year before that.

I'll add that if you find a way to attach something to a carbon fork with no mounts, you'll make millions!

Attach something to carbon without mounts? That's easy! Just add a whole lot of epoxy. Now where do I collect my millions from?

If you've got access to boiling water, the Trader Joe's pour over coffee bags aren't bad. It's not the greatest cup of coffee ever, but it is real coffee. It's a one shot deal, and therefore isn't any good for longer trips. Makes ~2 cups of coffee.

Anybody know if the new ACA section north of Banff is going to be added on?

I don't see why it would be yet... the ACA hasn't added it to their maps. They are planning on it, but it hasn't happened yet.

I have a Team Fly Ti. The Titanium frames are made by Ora, out of Taiwan. I believe they're the ones who make Salsa's titanium frames (well, more recently; old ones are Lynskey).

If it helps, I really like the bike overall. I did have a bad failure of a seatpost clamp, but that has nothing to do with the frame. And Bikesdirect sent me a replacement with no fuss.

1.  Best coffee in Banff?  Have tried a few.  Curious what the locals think.

It's been a LONG time since I was in Banff, and this is slightly off topic, but the cafe at the top of the Sulphur Mountain gondola had the BEST hot chocolate I've ever had. Kind of skirts around your question, since it isn't coffee. And with the ticket to the top of the mountain, it'll be one expensive cup.

Over!  Done!  No more!!  No one should line up!  That way some middle-aged, out of shape, has-been with bad knees and a rubber duck zip tied to his bike might have a chance of getting pie first.

My take away from this is that I need a rubber duck.

I don't know if interest is waning. Personally, I'm waiting for the TD2018 preparation post to get started. Content to lurk on here until then.

Son makes a hub for that. SON 28 15 Disc (I'm assuming disc brakes). But only in 28, 32, and 36 holes. Not 24. But you'll need a new rim and spokes anyways...

Hi! I'm Zac.

I watched "Ride the Divide" once and thought they were all nuts! I watched it again, and thought that it looked doable. I watched it a third time and decided I need to make a stab at it. Training and prepping for a 2018 run.
