Sold

This is my Surly ECR, size Medium.
I've used it for several bikepacking trips over the past couple of years but it has very low miles. It's in perfect condition except for some paint hazing where the frame bags have been in contact. It has no scratches or dents.
The bike is stock except for the wheels which I had custom built by Ryan at Diablo Wheel Works. The wheels are Nextie Jungle Fox rims laced 32 spoke to an I9 rear hub and SP dynamo front hub. The front hub powers a Supernova E3 Triple 2 headlight and Supernova The Plug USB charger. The wheels are set up tubeless with Bontrager Chupacabra tires and have been completely leak free.
Included in the sale will be the Revelate frame bag, top tube bag and Salsa Anything cages and bags. The handlebar bag and seat bag have already been sold. If you've been considering getting a dedicated bikepacking bike for multi-day tours this one is ready to go.
I'm asking $2,300 for the whole shebang. I'll have it boxed and shipped to you from my LBS. I'm in Los Angeles if you would like a test ride. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thanks, Josh

I love cous cous. Little packets of miso soup are great too. Avoiding simmering means that I can carry a lighter stove.

They are sold. Sorry, I forgot I had them up here.

I'm selling the stock wheels and tires from my Surly ECR. They have about 300 miles on them and are perfectly round and true. The tires have never had a puncture and the only flaw in either rim is a small nick in the anodizing which is visible in the last photo. I'm asking $400.00 for the complete setup. Thanks for looking.

This sounds like a killer bike. I don't need it but I could ask around for you. How about a nice photo of the current setup.

I'm 5'9" with a 30 inch inseam and I ride a medium with a 100 mm stem and Jones loop bars. My road bike has a 55 cm tt with a 120 mm stem. On paper I was sure that the large was the right size but when I sat on a medium it felt great. The size that works for you will probably depend on what cockpit setup you're going to use. If you can't test one and are really stuck, I would go with a large.

Awesome, thanks so much. If I do it I'll post a report.

I'm located in Los Angeles and am looking for some good overnight trips. Maybe longer in the future. I've done some backpacking in the area and a lot of road and mtb in all the popular spots. I'd like a trip in the Santa Monica's or San Gabriels to start out but it seems that camping (legally) is pretty limited. Am I missing something?
