Forums / Classifieds / SOLD>Porcelain Rocket/Nuke Sunrise bags
|

The two Porcelain Rocket fork bags in coyote brown were used only 2-3 times. They're like new. These work well with Anything cages--velcro straps to the cage bars and holds the bag securely. Easy on/off. Cordura body with rubberized material at the bottom for durability against abrasion. Height unrolled is ~15", diameter is ~5".
The stem bag from Nuclear Sunrise in Moab is new. Never used it. Bright green interior and drawstring closure.

Actually, I was under the same impression until I saw your post and it led me to investigate! The "re-release" version now has similar dropouts as other Surly models, allowing the use of thru axle or QR hubs, but offset is still the same.

Just FYI, the newer Pugsley still has the same 17.5mm offset rear triangle as the original. The dropouts are a little different, but you should still be able to use the same wheels you used with the old Pugs if that helps you cast a wider net in your search.

Used once, like new. It's got spade connectors attached.
Looking for $100 shipped. If you're in the market for one of these, save yourself a few bucks over buying new.

Not sure this is the right place to ask, but has anyone tried removing the heat transfer logos from frame bag? I've got a Revelate bag that I love, but I detest the huge logo on the side. I know, it's picky.

Forums / Classifieds / SOLD...SON28 Dynamo hub, 135mm QR disc
|
on: June 07, 2017, 07:04:35 AM
|
I have a SON28 dyno hub I laced up with the intent of using it with my Pugsley this summer, but I've since got a new bike with different fork spacing. It's essentially brand new--I literally rode it a few times around the block to test it was working. It's got tiny marks in the spoke holes from being laced, but otherwise it's perfect. 6 bolt disc, 135mm rear disc spacing. $250 shipped to US address.
Shoot me a message and I can email photos.
Thanks!

Forums / Classifieds / FS: Brand new Rohloff Speedhub

I have a brand new Rohloff Speedhub I was going to build a fat bike wheel with, but have decided to run derailleurs instead. It's the 135mm QR disc model and includes the shifter, cables, brake rotor, 16T cog and manuals. I'll ship it anywhere in the continental U.S. for $1150. If you're interested in a fat rear wheel build, I'll toss in a new Surly Marge Lite 26" x 65mm rim, rim strip, DT Swiss Competition 238mm spokes (size for the Rohloff build) and nipples for another $50.
Cheers, Jason

Hey Kurt,
I don't have one to sell, but wanted to offer thoughts on the Surly Troll I just built for my wife. I got a small older model (135mm rear spacing) frameset and built up with Rabbit Hole 26+ rims and WTB Ranger 26+ tires--3.0" front, 2.8" rear. It turned out great. Plenty of tire clearance front and rear, and no chain rub issues on rear tire with a triple crankset. Braze-ons all over the place for cages, racks, fenders, etc. Very pleased with how it turned out. Anyway, thought I'd share that as a Troll may be an option for you, too.
Cheers, Jason
