I have someone dropping a car for me in Durango. Any suggestions where the best place to leave a car for 1 to 2 weeks? At the trailhead? In town parked in a businesses lot? In town parked on a city street? Any help/suggestions is appreciated?

I have someone dropping a car for me in Durango. Any ideas where a car can be left in Durango for 1 to 2 weeks? At the trailhead ? In town somewhere? Parked on the street in town? Thanks for any ideas/ help you can give.

As a lifetime Minnesotan I've done a lot of winter biking and I would suggest all cables are kept dry.
If you're worried about cables not operating correctly use Teflon coated cables.
Any bearing can use a light weight winter grease
