The site is yak-attack.co.uk.Pretty cool race.I raced the Leh To Manalli traverse in 2000,same area for this race but
put on by a much better outfit.

Sounds interesting, but just to check this is a stage race, correct?  Where they haul your gear from day to day?

Very funny race!! Its a stage race now,i think.When i did it, it was as fast as you could get to Manalli.I had my own support crew with me so it was less stressful.I finished the race before they even had the finish set up.Beverage of choice at the finish Yak milk,yummy!! I would have loved to have raced over there this year but couldn't get it together in time.I heard the crew doing it now has there act together.Very nice people there,lots of fun.If considering this,i highly recommend showing up a week before to acclimate,17,000ft was the highest point in the race i did,lung burner for sure,and the locals there can ride,you wouldn't believe the bikes they were riding on.
