To my knowledge, there isn't a set route out there than anyone has published, so your best bet would be to start hitting the maps and make one!

Ride the CT and then head north on 50.  Great trails plus some cool scenery on the road.

I'm planning the CT from Denver to Lake City, then to Montrose and the Tabagauche Trail back to Grand Junction.

Lake City to Montrose is paved, looking for a dirt alternative.
