Here's a recent trip report I stumbled onto:

Sounds like he rode south from the Picketpost trailhead on fresh trail (Lee and I rode most of that in the dark, but I do remember the pin flags acting as an invisible guard rail).  Then things got derailed and the adventure began.

well, that's a funny story,  roping fake cows probably wasn't in the plan on the start of the trip.  HAHA
