Hi folks,

After many year being a conscientious objector where I travelled very heavy, I'm now running out of trip inspiration. So its now time to go bikepacking and look for some fun stuff that requires a lighter load (have zero mountain biking experience).

Here's my take on a first MYOG frame bag and a confrontation with the evil zip devil ....

Did my first mountain bike route this weekend, trying again on Monday with my new frame bag to see if it works Smiley Next month hopefully the Trans andalusia Smiley

Sadly my imagination and ambitions are greater than my sewing skills. Hopefully the experience gained in the last week will mean that the Mk II will be better Smiley

Nice looking bags. I like the cut out on the top tube.

Nice one. LOVE that color. I have made a tiny triangle back like the one you have-- I think a center zipper is preferable because it won't get muddy/touch the tire/spill the contents.

Yeh I agree, but the with a center zip I lost stiffness and the whole bag sagged more, this was Mk II Smiley. Hopefully as my sewing skills improve a possible Mk III will actually work Smiley

@Jaybo The gap at the top was a great brainwave, its proving very useful already Smiley
