Not having a sewing machine hinders making a frame bag.  So I decided to make a frame box.

First made a template out of cardboard and duct ape.  Then traced and cut out a one piece out of cloroplast.

Just shoved it in for now and using tape to keep door closed.  Will use nylon string for attachments.

No I did not see that.  Guess I was not very original.

Can't seem to post pics on here.  I will keep trying

My frame triangle is small.  I can barely fit a 28 oz and a 24 oz water bottle in the box.  I made it to carry my 4 liter bladder and some tools.

Here is the cloroplast box.  An extra layer on this side acts as the door.

This is the cardboard mock up

You could cover that with waterproof fabric with Craft Glue or use a Hot Glue Gun.  It would make it stronger and the color choices are about endless.

Using Craft Glue or a Glue Gun you could add Velcro to the box and make the whole deal last longer.
