Gorgeous!  One of these days I'll have to make it to Norway, despite the rumours I've heard of expensive beer.

I also have to ask about the framebag - I've thought of trying something like that velcro closure; how do you like it?

Hi folks, thanks for your questions and responses, I'll try and answer a few of the Q's here:

AC - the bike is stock, however - the grips are awful in the wet and will be switched before my next trip, the pedals are 45nrth and developed bearing play in the first 100miles, they've not got any worse but I'm not impressed that a £150 pair of pedals have more play than my £20 cheap set.  I did find the bars too straight for some of the super steep descents and intend to switch them to a set of carnegie's soon.  Finally the OPS version is, in my opinion, a worse choice for wilderness trips than the standard due to the silly drop outs, when I ordered mine I was under the impression the bike would come with spare single speed drop outs, it doesn't and they're £50 to purchase!  If I'd gone for the cheaper green version I wouldn't have to worry and should I need to run my fixed cog as an emergency get me home I could just slide the wheel back in the DO to tension

Smo - the framebag is version 3, I made one for my on one and one for my 9:zero:7 and this one for the krampus.  I don't think I'll bother with the fold over Velcro down flap again unless I'm using much thicker material - this bag is slightly too light to really gain any benefit as the flap doesn't hold the bag up any better than the standard fitting Velcro straps

Aphoto - if you fancy it I'm looking at putting together a guided trip next September
