The lost pants may be mine. I think I lost them between hwy 50 and Marshall Pass. They were either Specialized or Nashbar brand, can't remember which. If I am the lucky winner please mail them to Richie Mattson, 7046 Klimek Road, Saginaw, MN 55779. Please include your cost of shipping and name and address in the package. I will send you a check for amount. Thanks for posting the find. I thought I had seen the last of them.

For kicks, I looked at the CTR Trackleaders website this morning. Am I to understand there are still racers on course...with this snow? It's been a month....maybe people just did not call in.

Lots of dots out there from people who abandoned the race. Hover or click on the dots to see how long it's has been since they were updated. Usually Scott deletes old dots, but he has been riding the CDT this summer, so he hasn't been behind his desk much.

I was just up on there too...as I asked the trackleaders guys to put me on the general CT Tracker, but they put me on the race one.

Either way, I had a pretty awesome ride from Marshall Pass to Durango last week.

I got caught at sunset just reaching treeline at the Indian Trail Ridge, and ended up doing the knife edge in the dark...yikes!

If anyone knows who Stefan_G is, can you let him know that the lost pants guy posted his name and address on this discussion. Thanks.

Did you follow the thread that he linked to? If so, you'll see that he doesn't actually have your pants--he was just referencing another discussion.

I didn't do the race but heres a write up on my tour of the CT during the race.  We had registered as an ITT but it didn't really end up as one.  Here's a write up on my tour. I hope to do an ultra race next year. http://badgerattack14.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2014-09-03T07:59:00-07:00&max-results=7&reverse-paginate=true&start=7&by-date=false

Nice write-up!  Way to persevere and finish it up.  That animal (honey badger?!?LMAO) hitting your friend's bike at the base of the climb up to the intersection of Monarch Trail is too funny (though I probably wouldn't think so if it happened to me!).
