Why do they say the GDMBR route is 2711 miles and the TD route is something like 2698 miles?

Hello,

So I'm (desperately) looking for a kit for my quickly planned GDMBR trip. I roll out of Banff on Aug 18th, but am leaving home on July 30.

Looking for CDW or Revelate or similar type bags and need: saddle pack, bar bag, gas tank/fuel cell, small frame pack.
