I'm in the process of putting together a form fitted gas tank for my BP bike. For the zipper, I wanted to use a dual head zipper like what is used in purses. i.e. the zipper heads come together in the middle to close the gap. I mentioned to some friends that I was going to go to Hancock Fabrics and they told me that they were going out of business. The prices aren't the greatest, but I did get some coated heavy nylon for future use as well as a number of good zippers, some were water resistant too.
