Has anyone ever tried building their own "harness" / "sling"?  https://www.revelatedesigns.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=store.catalog&CategoryID=3&ProductID=4

The harness will be out of stock for at least another month, and Id think its not too hard to build. Just seeing if anyone has tried this, before i start.

Made several over the years. It's about as simple as it looks too. To add some "structure" i used two layers of this foam sandwiched between the cloth: http://www.michaels.com/Creatology%E2%84%A2-Foam-Sheets/gc1328,default,pd.html

Nice! Do you have any pics? Did you just use cordura? Im thinking using these for the straps, http://www.amazon.com/Therm---Rest-24-Inch-Straps-Count/dp/B000A8C5P0/ref=sr_1_2?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1336081285&sr=1-2

 I havent made too many things myself, but seems like I can figure it out.
