After months of brownsing the internet, I finally decided to make my own bp gear.  To be honest, I asked my wife to make it (and I would assist her Smiley ).
So I ordered enough stuff from www.extremtextil.de to make a frame bag, a seat bag and a handlebar bag.
After spending 2 evenings behind the sewing machine, I'd like to share the result with you all of the first bag: framebag.
Of course after completion, we learned a lot of things we would do different the next time (version 2  Wink ).
But instead of writing a long and elaborate essay, I'd just like to post a bunch of pictures and let them speak for themselves.
My first bp trip (I used to travel about 15 years ago with my mountainbike but old style ==> side panniers ...) will be touring around in Romania for a week end September.  In the mean time, I'm gonna do some overnighters here in Belgium, to try out and test my diy gear.
Of course I'll also post the making of the other bags (still to be made this and next week) and finally my gear list.
Here are the pictures.
Please feel free to comment or to ask any questions.

Awesome job on the frame bag!  Your brake and shift cables work best with low friction, so you might try with velcro below the cables, as opposed to the weight of contents pulling down onto the cables.  Just my 2 cents from working on bikes at a bike shop.  Keep up the great work!

Full length housing is another option. The pictures do work on my computer.

What width did you go with?
