Hello all,
I have been wondering about buying or making a bar bag but reused a fannypack that I got for $5 at my used gear store....works amazing and could not be happier. tied the loop to the step and took the buclke off the belt, threaded through a loop that was already on there and thats it. the belt holds in please and does not slip. The side stash pockets and in just the right place....

I gotta say, that seems pretty perfect if you don't need the massive volume of a large drybag. You get all the benefits of a front pocket and two feed bags all in one package!

Nice one. If I were you I would swap/change/finalize all the buckles and webbing to make it snug as a bug, and maybe snip off any excess material or dividers or flaps you didn't want.

Great system. I have thought about doing the same, but use the pack on top of a dry bag, like some other pocket systems. My thought was that I could ride backpack-free, and the fanny pack could go on my waist as conditions warrant, and it would be something I could easily take off and carry in town.

Nice execution!

Typed on my phone. Pardon the autocorrect.
