Looking for the hard to find.  Anyone have one they want to sell?  Or do you know a shop that has one in stock?  2017 not arriving until fall, according to Salsa.  I want to do the Divide again before then and this time on a lighter bike.

Check with Franks Cyclery in Raleigh, NC.  http://frankscyclery.com/

He's a Salsa dealer and mechanic extraordinaire, who just built up a Vaya for my wife.  I came to him with a plan and he implemented it.  Highly recommended.

Anyway, I was in his shop on Saturday and he has a green Cutthroat partially assembled in his shop.  Not sure of the size, but if it's not a medium, he might be able to get one for you.  Tell him Norm sent you. Smiley

(Sorry for the temporary thread hijack)

Norm, is that a 650b conversion? Been looking to do a 650b and flat bar conversion on my steel Vaya.

Yes, the wheels are 650b, but I wouldn't call it a conversion.  I started with the frame and spec'd the build kit with the help of Frank based on what I wanted for my wife.  Tires are Compass 650B x 48 Switchback Hill, bars are Jones 660 Bend H-Bar, drivetrain GX 1x11.  This bike will do pavement, gravel, and touring equally well.  Cost was just a couple hundred more than the stock X9 build.

Frank ordered all the parts and built it up.  I just picked it up on Saturday and my wife, who isn't what we would call a cyclist, loves it!

There's a medium at Mob Cycles in Ojai, CA. Was just there last week.
