Yes, still for sale.

I’ve run this bike singlespeed, fixed gear, and as a 3×1 for a summer kid puller. Its been on local BTV trails and to Sunny Hollow a few times – but I’m not much of a mountain biker – so its never seen hardcore use. Lots of kid pulling, local trails, bike path, winter exploring on studs.

This bike can be run SS / Fixed or with gears. It has a derailer hanger on the rear. It has disc tabs on the rear – but I’m running a V-brake to allow for flipping the wheel. Pretty sure I have a front and rear derailer in the parts bin if anyone is interested.

‘L’ – 18″ frame
Effective TT – 600mm
TT – 576mm
Head Angle – 71.5mm
Seat Tube Angle – 73mm
Chainstay Length – 447mm
Standover – 30.5inch
Max Tire Size: 2.4″ frame, 3.5″ claimed for the fork

What you get:
Complete bike, no pedals (or some plastic ones from my parts bin…)

Soma Steel Frame
Salsa CroMoto Grande 29r steel fork, disc only (this frame can also take an 80mm travel suspension fork, and I have the original IRD fork if you want to run V brakes)
Cane Creek Headset
No-name seatpost
WTB SST Saddle
Soma Odin handlebar OR Titec aluminum H bars
Avid brake levers
Avid BB7 disc, front, 160mm rotor
Shimano (Deore?) rear ‘V’ brake
Surly Mr. Whirly 94BCD triple crank – I’m running the single 32t middle ring – but have the inner and outer, as well as a 30t single
Ritchey Stem – 90mm (I think I have a 110 in my parts bin)
Front wheel – Salsa Delgado Cross rim on Surly Front Disc Hub, Kenda Nevegal 2.2 tire
Rear Wheel – Salsa Delgado Cross rim on Surly SS / FG rear hub, bolt on
Homebrewed components chain tugs, 1 for each side
Currenty set up with a Surly DingleCog 17-19 fixed gear for the rear. The SS freewheel needs to be replaced - but is still working.

Notes:

Frame was new October 2009, frame saver and assembled by swapping some parts from my old Surly CrossCheck at Old Spokes Home. Fork was swapped out from the original IRD to the Salsa in May 2010.

Re-cabled late this fall

BB bearings will likely need replacement or a repack sometime this summer.

Rear wheel sealed bearings were pulled and replaced just after I built up the bike.

Bike has been collecting dust over the winter since I started riding my Pugsley on the snow.

$450
