I don't know if this would serve your needs, but I have just zip-tied $10 climbing chalk bags to my stem.
May be a cheaper way of holding water, food, whatever.

I looked into this but the price was about the same for something decent, and they don't seem to have the bottom straps for attaching to the fork to prevent swaying. Have you noticed if this is a problem? I could be tempted to go for cheap ones if they stayed put.

No, I think the poster was looking for the original Mountain Feedbag, not a knock off imitation.

The two Mountain Feedbags I have been using for a long to time work great -- pretty good at keeping the elements out, minimal sway, durable.  Just looking for more.  Thanks for the suggestions, guys!

BTW (slightly off topic), I really appreciate all the expertise out there and everyone's willingness to help out, problem solve and share information.  Lots of great experience and insights!

Just wanted to throw out some support for genuine Revelate products. I own several items including a Revelate-made feedbag, they are all top notch and I would encourage others to support the original and real deal. If items are OOS they are worth the wait

J - Poaching the goodwill of products that the OP was asking about, then interjecting your link for a possible sale has shaky ethics at best.
I have never, ever used this forum as a marketing tool in it's years of existence, it should be a community place. But I will call BS on stuff like this.

And while we're on the topic of Revelate products, I got one of Eric's Visachia seat bags.  It is FANTASTIC!  Very stable. Surprising amount of stowage space.  Very well made.  I am real happy with it.
