The short story:
My 1yr, 2 month old Legend suddenly stopped working before the AZT and I needed a quick replacement so I purchased a new unit from REI. Later I talked to Garmin and after they concluded my unit could not be re-set and made to work they graciously replaced it with this unit. But I now have a new Vitsa plus my old Vista—so------
This is a never used Factory Warranty Replacement Unit. It looks new (still has the protective tear off plastic on the display) but it is actually a factory “newly overhauled” unit. So technically it’s not new, even though it is from a practical point of view.
Included: Original packing, manual and a new/never used Trip & Waypoint CD with it’s original slip cover and required S/N
I will offer it here on bikepacking net before I put it on ebay (a quick check of ebay prices shows $165 for refurbished, $172 new)
