here is a rather long video I made of the last year's ride from Canada to Mexico. Parts of GDMBR, CDT and CT along with lots of detours.
I was there back in 2014 but was unable to finish it (due to winter...) so this was a second go. I was pretty much learning how to mountain bike on the way, as I havent done much of that before, here's the vid, hope you find it interesting:

Hey Iohan!

You never know who you will see here at bikepacking.net. I link your videos on my personal webpage www.bakerjw.org under my tour Divide Motivational Videos. There are a handful of videos that I watch regularly to keep up the enthusiasm about riding up there next month. Everyone who comes over to my house has to hear about the GDMBR since I'm going up there next month and your video of the GDMBR is required viewing. Especially loved the part with the wild horses.

Fantastic work and thanks for taking the time to take the videos and edit them together.

Thanks for posting this, Iohan. An excellent production in every way – easily the most inspiring bikepacking-related film I've seen. Nazdráve thumbsup

I don't have the attention span to watch anything over 5 min most of the time, but I watched this whole vid. Definitely makes me want to get out for some adventures.  Great job Iohan!

Absolutely amazing.  You gave me goosebumps at the wonder of life for over an hour.  I am more excited than ever about my GDMBR ride this summer.

I have a few questions for you:
-How did you decide where to detour onto the CDT or CT?  What maps did you use for those portions?
-You have inspired me to bring a video camera.  What camera were you using?

Thanks again for sharing.  Absolutely wonderful.  Maybe we will cross paths one day.
