Getting kinda quiet in here.  Must be the off season or something.  I must admit in even AZ the limited daylight makes bikepacking not quite as attractive.

There probably won't be too many writeups posted soon, so I thought I'd post a link to this thread:

http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=410393

It's on MTBR, before bikepacking.net was around.  It's the only place to find many of Mike's pictures and words from a number of trips.  I wanted to link to it somewhere on bp.net, and I figured this was a place.  There's a lot of material in there...

There goes the neighborhood...

Big Bend -- sounds juicy.  Looking forward to a report.

This neighborhood was pretty seedy to begin with...

No doubt, no doubt.

So I assume Big Bend is gonna be dirt roads, being a NP.  Any singletrack prospects?

100% dirt road I think, but BBNP was the first park to start suggesting singletrack options a while back.  With the new NP rule change proposal, it might open up a bit.

This is more tour research-based.  I'm looking for a "White Rim-esque" tour for the catalog.
