In December I posted a story called Epic, the idea at the time was to show how easy it really is to have an adventure. You don't need lots of money or travel all that far from home, hell you can have one in your own backward! Yesterday as I was working (yes WORKING) I accidentally stumbled on this website(http://www.alastairhumphreys.com/). At first I didn't think much about it until I clicked on the microadventure tab. That's it! Microadventures, that's what you call it! He has a lot more "microadventure" ideas on his site; many you can try out until you can graduate to the macro one.

ps: Taken from my blog, just thought I would share...

Just spent about an hour watching videos on Alastair's Vimeo page... There are some great ones!  Great find, thanks for sharing!

Ground Truth Trekking has just started a new and ongoing slideshow titled "microadventures".
We will update this series regularly so be sure to return again.

Thanks for posting that here.  Really thanks - it might just be the help I need to get through this year.

Bjorn, I like what ya'll are doing but dude, you don't have to self promote your blog that much.  Twice in the same thread is kind of much.  I think your content will stand on it's own and if people enjoy it they'll continue to go back to the site and read it.

Good luck with your journey.

Word. Not my style to self inflate. The second one was a mistake.
Thanks for the heads up.
