Just curious what people think of Go Lite Down Jacket's, their Demaree 800 are extremely well priced on the website. Almost too well priced.

Thanks

No experience with the down, sorry, but I have a GoLite ski parka that is extremely nice. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more gear from them. Prices are usually hard to beat.

We use Go-Lite Down Jackets, and appreciate the weight to warmth ratio, and perform well as part of our winter sleeping system.

I have the Go Lite Selkirk and love it! It's replaced my beloved Mountain Hardwear synthetic fill jacket. It compresses down to a little bigger than a baseball. It a definite for my HT550 this summer and an Alpencross or more.

I can also vouch for GoLite stuff, including their down coats. My GoLite stuff has held up well.

As a company they may lack the sustainability and "Made in the USA" cred of some competitors, if that matters to you. This may also explain their lower prices?

They are consumer-direct as well. That keeps the price down.

I recently bought the Selkirk down jacket, it is really light and warm. I haven't gone bike packing with it but assume it'll be a great addition to my kit.
