This is an unconventional way to enjoy Halloween but with warm sunny days coming to an end you have to make hay when the sun shines. Or... go fatpacking as it were. It was great.

Thanks! It is a Western Megalite. It was a chunk of money but the quality is absolutely top notch and its made in America. It was a no brainer for me. The Chinese made bags are not that much less. Also, I personally love the idea that the highest quality bag I could find was still made in the U.S. Its nearly impossible to find that situation these days. I'm happy to let my dollars support that.

Where in your setup do you carry it? I have been looking at getting that bag. The size of the MegaLite should be nice and roomy. I have the WM Sequoia for winter and really like it. but its to big for the bike.

Curtis,
I keep it, along with a down jacket in the handlebar bag. Fits just right.

You've got a great eye for shooting and editing an interesting video! I appreciated the different camera angles. Nice choice for the soundtrack, too.

Thanks, you know I didn't see that face until I put the movie together. Now it seems so obvious, I don't know how I missed it. Still a little creepy though, especially since it was on Halloween.

It looks like there were a couple of those in there - went to utah for the first time this summer and could not believe what I was witnessing.  I've been a "Million Dollar Highway Colorado lover" for some time, but I gotta Utah really is pushin' hard against that loop in Silverton...Since you're in Durango do you head for Ouray much and ride up out of town into the hills??

VABikePacker,
Utah has some incredible exploration potential, especially on a fat bike. Durango is a great place to live because it is in between the big mountains to the north and the desert in SE Utah. As far as riding to the mountains though, I don't do that anymore. Now I use my truck. Getting older sucks.

...wish I could change my screen name to UTBikePacker and have be a reality...Cheesy  LOVE the place!!  It was just so unreal to me how easily you could be SO remote SO fast.  We just don't have remote capability at that magnitude here - or, the trees are coverin' it all!!
